Description

Xuan My communal house is located in Xuan My village, Ninh Tho commune, Ninh Hoa town, Khanh Hoa province.

According to local veterans, in the 20s of the 18th century, people from the North Central provinces came to Xuan My village (Ninh Tho commune) to live and settle down. As it has become a tradition, in a new land with so many worries and concerns, not knowing where the fulcrum is, it is understandable to immediately think of an invisible force for psychological peace of mind. And the small herb garden made of bamboo and thatched roofs, worshiping Son Lam Lord General and Ba Thien Y A Na was born from there. When the exiles had come to the land quite a lot, in order to have a place to settle the common affairs as well as the common cultural and religious activities of the village, the villagers renovated the small workshop into a communal house in the first half of the century. XIX, to worship God Thanh Hoang and other gods who dominated the lives of people in the village.

In the year of the Mao year (1915), the villagers organized a great restoration of the village communal house with a composite wood-stone structure: stone foundation, coral stone wall, wooden frame, yin and yang tile roof with all grades. Project items: Nghi Mon, main hall, east house, west house, warehouse, kitchen, wall.

Since its construction until now, Xuan My communal house has undergone restoration in the years: 1915, 1997, 2016.

Xuan My communal house worships the following people: Ban Canh Thanh Hoang, Thien Y A Na, Tien Hien, and Tho Cong.

During the years 1947-1948, Xuan My communal house lost its family tree and 03 ordinations. Currently, Xuan My communal house still retains 06 ordinations bestowed by the Nguyen dynasties, specifically as follows:
- Ordaining Tu Duc in the 5th year (1852) to Thanh Hoang.
- Ordaining Tu Duc in the 33rd year (1880) to Thanh Hoang.
- Ordaining Dong Khanh in the second year (1887) to Thanh Hoang.
- Ordaining Duy Tan in the 3rd year (1909) for Thanh Hoang.
- Ordaining Khai Dinh in the 2nd year (1917) conferred on Thanh Hoang
- Ordaining Khai Dinh in the 2nd year (1917) to Thien Y A Na.

During the resistance war against the French colonialists and the American imperialists, Xuan My communal house was the place to mark a number of typical events such as: Before the August Revolution in 1945, Xuan My communal house was the place where the movement movement took place. secret activities of Viet Minh organizations; meeting place and providing food and medicine for revolutionary soldiers. Dinh Xuan My is also a place where militiamen gather their armed forces to practice martial arts and train combat readiness skills.

In the past, Xuan My village held a communal house worship service on the occasion of "Spring and Fall of the Second Period". After 1975, people in the village conducted "Spring and Autumn Reunification" and chose the 10th day of the third lunar month every year as the day to worship the family.

On October 14, 2010, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 2637/QD-UBND classifying Dinh Xuan My as a provincial historical-cultural relic.
