The communal house is located in Vinh Xuan village, Vinh Thai commune, Nha Trang city, Khanh Hoa province.

Vinh Xuan communal house was formerly a temple to worship Thien Y A Na, existed for a long time on the land of Vinh Xuan, Vinh Thai, experienced many ups and downs with the lives of Vinh Xuan villagers. In the past, this place was just a high mound, with a few roofs of bamboo cottages and local people built a small temple of bamboo and bamboo leaves to worship Thien Y A Na, the land with the wish to bless the people. Villagers make a living. Gradually the people gathered into villages and hamlets. In order to have a place of worship, to serve spiritual beliefs, in 1959, the old man and the people raised money to build and upgrade the temple into a communal house to worship the village's Thanh Hoang, the predecessors, the late sages (the people who reclaim land, convert people, establish hamlets, build villages, etc.). At first, the villagers only built the main hall, in 1964 - 1965 built the money; in 1970, built Tien Hien Temple; in 1995, built martial arts. Since then, people have regularly painted and repaired every festival of the family, or a traditional festival.

 

 

The communal house turns to the east, the front is Phong Chau street, in the distance are the Tac and Quan Truong rivers. The communal house has a large and airy landscape space, with a large old tree in the premises. The communal house is decorated with bright colors with images of nature, the four spirits (Long, Lan, Quy, Phung), the four quarters (Tung, Cuc, Truc, Mai)... Inside the communal house is decorated solemnly, majestic with altars, magnetic gas, couplets, trusses, tents, drums, gongs, parasols, reliefs embossed on the roof bank, strip bank, head of the feng shui pillar...

Vinh Xuan communal house has an architectural structure with bold traditions of Khanh Hoa in particular, and the South Central region in general with a simple roof structure, decorated mainly with painted, embossed, and colorful patterns. sharp, meticulous, vivid look, except for Co Lau, which is carved, embossed with decorative figures such as: "four spirits" Long, Lan, Quy, Phung, "four quarters" Tung, Cuc, Truc, Mai, lotus flowers, stylized rattan... especially martial arts are very large, which is the place to organize boi singing in traditional festivals. Through relics, it is possible to study the history of the formation of the land, the culture, customs and practices of the people on this land.

The communal house is also a place of cultural activities of the residents of Vinh Xuan village, a place to worship Thanh Hoang of the village, Thien Y A Na and worship the predecessors and late sages (those who openly reclaimed the land and converted the people). , setting up hamlets, setting up hamlets)...

Previously, every year the villagers held "Spring and Autumn Festival", but now the Spring and Autumn offerings are united in the third lunar month, depending on the year, choose a good day in March. Through the village communal house festival, Educating children and grandchildren to behave in a cultured manner with those around them, respecting their superiors and subordinates, loving their homeland and villages with the traditional moral spirit of the Vietnamese nation "Drink water, remember the source".

In particular, during the resistance war against the French colonialists, this place was the gathering place for people to contribute food and food support to the Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Front for 101 days and nights, October 23, 1945 - January 1. February 1946 and was also the place where a Nam Tien Company was stationed, led by Mr. Kham (surname unknown, hometown) - Northerner to fight in the Front 101 day and night Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa.

In 2008, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee ranked Vinh Xuan Communal House as a provincial historical and cultural relic.
