Quan Thanh Temple is located next to Thanh market, in Dien Khanh town, Dien Khanh district, Khanh Hoa province.

Quan Thanh Temple was built by Vietnamese Chinese people in Guangdong (China) who came to live and do business in Dien Khanh. The earliest Chinese settlement in Dien Khanh was Thanh Minh (Dien Lac commune), then they moved down to Thanh area. The Chinese in Dien Khanh town built the Cantonese Assembly Hall in 1876 as a place for cultural and religious activities.

The temple was built to worship Mr. Quan Thanh / Quan Cong, whose real name is Quan Van Truong lived in the Han Dynasty - China, after his death, he was declared a Saint; In addition, the relic also worships Chau Xuong and Quan Binh (Chau Xuong is a mountain bandit who was captured by Quan Cong and became a good disciple, Quan Binh is the son of a friend of Quan Cong and was adopted by Quan). All the Chinese living in the countries where they settled, set up shrines (temples) to worship Quan Thanh.

Quan Thanh Temple was built on a campus with a total area of 1,644.3m2. From the outside to the inside, the relic includes the following architectural works: Tam Quan, Vong Nguyet floor, Temple, East house.

The main hall has a large wooden altar in the middle, in the statue of Quan Thanh, on the right is the altar of the God of Fortune, on the left is the altar for Phuc Duc. Outside of Quan Thanh's altar, there is a large altar on which many items from gas, lampstands, incense burners, bronze tops are placed.

Every year, Quan Thanh Temple organizes worship on the two biggest occasions, January 13 of the lunar calendar and May 13 of the lunar calendar. Besides those days, the shrine also worships on the full moon and the first day.

With unique values of architecture, culture and beliefs in 2006, Quan Thanh Temple was issued by Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Decision No. 1886/QD - People's Committee is a provincial historical - cultural relic.
