According to the old men, Phu Xuong communal house belonged to Phu Toan village (later changed to Phu Nhon, Vinh Xuong district, Khanh Hoa province). First, the communal house was built by five clans (Tran, Le, Nguyen, Huynh, Lam) in the village at Ba Do mound (now Xuan Ngoc village, Vinh Ngoc commune) and took the name Phu Toan village as the communal house.

Phu Xuong communal house is located at 19 - Phu Xuong street, residential group 19 Northwest, Vinh Hai ward, Nha Trang city, Khanh Hoa province.
Phu Xuong communal house was built around the beginning of the 19th century. According to the old men, Phu Xuong communal house belonged to Phu Toan village (later changed to Phu Nhon, Vinh Xuong district, Khanh Hoa province). First, the communal house was built by five clans (Tran, Le, Nguyen, Huynh, Lam) in the village at Ba Do mound (now Xuan Ngoc village, Vinh Ngoc commune) and took the name Phu Toan village as the communal house. At this time, the communal house was built of bamboo and cork leaves. According to the local pronunciation, "Phu Toan" is easy to read, deviating to "Phu Tan", which is poor, undeveloped, predicts a bad future, so the elders and villagers asked the government to change the name of the village to Phu. Nhon, with the meaning that people work hard, creatively, respect humanity, they will be rich and prosperous. Later, the French colonialists made the railway line near the communal house to shake, so the elders moved the family to Go Huong, located in the center of the village, convenient for traveling, worshiping, meeting and living. people's culture. At this time, the communal house was built with bricks and pipes, the roof roofed with hook tiles (scaled tiles). After that, the communal house belonged to Phu Xuong commune, so the name of the communal house was called Phu Xuong according to the place name and has not changed until now.

Phu Xuong communal house turns to the Southeast, built on a campus of 2,713.6m2. From the outside looking in, the relic includes: Nghi Mon, feng shui, great communal house, Thien Y Temple, Temple of Seniors and Seniors, Eastern House, Monument to Martyrs.

Phu Xuong communal house worships Thanh Hoang, Holy Mother Thien Y A Na, Former sage Hau sage, Senior Senior, Heroic Martyr, Son Lam Lord General, Tho Cong, Fairy Patriarch, Son Lam, Ngu Hanh. The villagers worshiped Mr. Tran Ngon as the First Sage and Mr. Tran Dai (grandson of Tran Ngon) as the Later sage.

According to the annual tradition, the Phu Xuong communal house festival takes place on the occasion of Hung King's death anniversary, in two days from March 9 to March 10 of the lunar calendar. This is the Spring Festival to pray for peace. If there is singing, the festival lasts from three to four days.

Phu Xuong communal house still preserves 05 ordinations bestowed by the reigns of Kings Thanh Thai, Duy Tan and Khai Dinh of the Nguyen Dynasty, including:
- Ordaining King Thanh Thai in the 2nd year (1890) to Bon Canh Thanh Hoang.
- Ordaining the reign of King Thanh Thai in the 2nd year (1890) to Thien Y A Na Dien jade consort.
- Ordaining the reign of King Duy Tan in the 3rd year (1909) to Bon Canh Thanh Hoang.
- Ordaining the reign of King Duy Tan in the 3rd year (1909) to Thien Y A Na Dien Ngoc Phi.
- Ordained King Khai Dinh in the 9th year (1924) to Bon Canh Thanh Hoang.

At present, the communal house still preserves and preserves the ancient architecture with decorative patterns and motifs on the roof system, the ancient floor, the style of the Nguyen Dynasty; artifacts such as ordination, couplets, bells, muzzles, etc., and ritual rituals according to traditional customs.

The decorative patterns in the communal house are very sharp, sophisticated and sophisticated that not all relics in Khanh Hoa today have. With the image of "Dragon worshiping phoenix dancing" mounted on the roof system, along with the patterns of rolling clouds, bats, etc., the communal house has an elegant, lightness and shows the sublimation of talented and skillful craftsmen. skillful.

Over time, the communal house has been restored many times in the following years:
- Around the end of the 19th century, the communal house was still a thatched cottage. At the beginning of the twentieth century, the communal house was built of bricks and tiles and roofed with yin and yang tiles.
- In 1963: built martial arts, roofed with corrugated iron and repaired rituals.
- 1968: Due to a broken banyan tree branch, the east house collapsed, so the east house was rebuilt.
- In 2001: the communal house was degraded, so the villagers contributed their efforts to rebuild the village communal house, Thien Y temple, Nghi Mon, feng shui project, wall, east house.
- 2003: People's Committee of Vinh Hai ward coordinated with the Management Board to build the ward's Martyrs' Monument in the communal house.

The restoration and preservation of the communal house roof clearly shows the interest of the local government and people to the national cultural heritage, contributing to the preservation of local cultural traditions.

On 11/11/2009, Phu Xuong communal house was ranked by Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee as a provincial historical and cultural relic, in Decision No. 2864/QD-UBND.
