The communal house was built in Phu Khanh Thuong village, Dien Thanh commune, Dien Khanh district, Khanh Hoa province.

According to the ordination still preserved at Thien Y temple in Phu Khanh village, during the reign of King Tu Duc in the 5th year (1852) this was Phu My commune, Phuoc Dien district and in the reign of King Duy Tan in the 3rd year (1909) this was a commune. Phu Khanh communal house was built around the end of the 18th century - the beginning of the 19th century, to worship Thanh Hoang, Cao Cac, Thai Giam Bach Ma, Tien Hien, Hau Hien, Quan Thanh De Quan, Mr.

Over time, until now, Phu Khanh communal house has been relocated three times: first, it was built in the urgent field (southwest of the present communal house), then moved to the Cau Xe area (Northeast of the communal house). present) and continue to move to Cay Thi area (about 200m from the present communal house); In 1904 Mr. Nguyen Co donated land to build the communal house and is the site of the present communal house. At that time, the communal house was built with bricks, a wooden frame and a roof with yin and yang tiles. Under the French colonial period, the French colonialists occupied the communal house; In 1956, the villagers rebuilt the communal house. Today, Phu Khanh communal house belongs to Phu Khanh Thuong village, but is a place of worship and common activities of the people of three hamlets of Phu Khanh Thuong, Phu Khanh Trung and Phu Khanh Ha.

The relic has the following architectural works: Nghi Mon, wind and flagpole, communal house yard, great communal house, east house, Son Lam temple, kitchen.

Today, Phu Khanh communal house still preserves the horizontal concubines, couplets, incense burners, lampstands, mules, gongs, blessing bells, bowls of buu (traveling) and 7 ordinations of King Khai Dinh of the Nguyen Dynasty, including: :
- Four royal decrees of King Khai Dinh's 2nd year (1917) were conferred on Ban Canh Thanh Hoang, Cao Cac, Thai Giam, and Quan Thanh De Quan.
- Three ordinations of King Khai Dinh in the 9th year (1924) conferred on Cao Cac, Thai Giam, and Quan Thanh De Quan.

According to the old dignitaries: Phu Khanh communal house had the royal ordinations from Tu Duc's reign just like the times when Thien Y temple was ordained, but because it was kept at his house, his house burned down. Ordaining the communal house, until now, the villagers are used to calling the area of his house in the past as Go Chay. According to the ordination of Khai Dinh in the second year (1917), Cao Cac Dai Vuong honors the god: "...now I obey the orders of the gods, thinking of the god's protection and merit, worthy of the additional title (beautiful letter) is Trac Vi Duc Bao Trung. worshiping superior gods (listed in the rank of superior gods), standard for worship as before…”. Thus, before the reign of King Khai Dinh in the second year, the communal house was ordained.

According to the annual tradition, the Phu Khanh communal house festival takes place in two days from the 9th day of the 3rd lunar month to the 10th day of the third lunar month and organizes boi singing once every three years. Ba Temple is located to the east of the communal house, about 300m from the communal house. The communal house management board also manages the temple and every festival, the villagers make sacrifices at Ba Temple first, then organize a procession to sacrifice at the communal house.

Recognizing the historical - cultural values of Phu Khanh communal house, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 2643/QD-UBND dated October 14, 2010, ranking provincial relic.
