Phu Hoa village was formed during the period from 1653 to 1687, the predecessors followed the Nguyen Lords to the South to reclaim, establish hamlets and live here.  The communal house was built in the year of Quy Hoi (1803).  At that time, the communal house was simply built, with thatched roofs and earthen walls.  In the year of Giap Tuat (1934), the villagers rebuilt as it is today.

Phu Hoa communal house is located in Phu Hoa village, Ninh Quang commune, Ninh Hoa town, Khanh Hoa province.

Phu Hoa village was formed during the period from 1653 to 1687, the predecessors followed the Nguyen Lords to the South to reclaim, establish hamlets and live here. The communal house was built in the year of Quy Hoi (1803). At that time, the communal house was simply built, with thatched roofs and earthen walls. In the year of Giap Tuat (1934), the villagers rebuilt as it is today. On the main beam, there is also the inscription in Chinese Nom: (甲 戌 年 七 -  Giap Tuat year of the lunar calendar) which translates as: July of the year Giap Tuat was built, this shows that the communal house was rebuilt in the year of Giap Tuat. .

* Since its formation until now, Phu Hoa communal house has undergone restoration and embellishment as follows:
- In 1934, the villagers rebuilt the communal house with bricks and cement...
- In 1993, whitewashed the entire communal house and painted decorative patterns.
- In 1999, the Tien Hien house was repaired; replace all fish scale tiles with cement tiles.

Phu Hoa communal house still retains 05 ordinations of the Nguyen Dynasty kings bestowed on the village citadel:
- Ordaining the 5th King Tu Duc (1852) to Bon Canh Thanh Hoang;
- Ordaining the 33rd King Tu Duc (1880) to Bon Canh Thanh Hoang;
- Ordaining the 2nd Dong Khanh King (1887) to Bon Canh Thanh Hoang;
- Ordaining the 3rd King Duy Tan (1909) to Bon Canh Thanh Hoang;
- Ordaining the 9th King Khai Dinh (1924) to Bon Canh Thanh Hoang.

In February of the 21st year of Tu Duc (1868), King Tu Duc gave the communal house of Phu Hoa village four Chinese Nom characters: (風 可 俗 善 - Thien Tuc Kha Phong). This proves that at that time, the communal house of Phu Hoa village played a very important role in the spiritual life of the community of Phu Hoa villagers.

Phu Hoa communal house turns to the west, located in the land area with a total area of 1,410 m2. The relic includes the following works: Nghi Mon, flag pole, Thanh Hoang temple, Son Lam temple, great communal house, Tien Hien house, Tru house.

On the porch column, write a pair of couplets in Han Nom with the first two letters combined to form the name of the communal house:

Spelling:

Prosperity, flowers, gods of fortune,
Harmony of fine traditions from the spring.

Translate:

Prosperity, flowers, gods of fortune,
Harmonize the four spring customs.

The highlight of the communal house is the relatively intact wooden frame structure system, the architecture, sculpture, showing the natural scenery rich in folklore and vividness.

During the resistance war against the French and American, Phu Hoa communal house was the place where a number of local historical events took place. Phu Hoa communal house is also the place to vote for the National Assembly election on January 6, 1946, of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam.

Every year, Phu Hoa communal house holds a festival on the 9th and 10th of the third lunar month.

Recognizing the typical values of history and culture, Phu Hoa communal house was ranked a provincial relic by the Provincial People's Committee in Decision No. 1889/QD-UBND, dated November 6, 2006.
