Binh Ba village is located at the foot of 3 mountains clustered together, namely Ma Du, Hon Co and Mui Nam.  The legend of the fishermen here tells that: Ma Du mountain got its name because in the past there was a wine maker here and he was afraid of thieves coming to steal wine, so he named the mountain "Ma Du".  to scare off thieves from coming and going;  Hon Co mountain is because storks often come here, so people call it Hon Co;  Nam Mui mountain is because it is located to the south of the village

Nam Hai Binh Ba Mausoleum is located on Binh Ba Island, in Cam Binh Commune, Cam Ranh City, Khanh Hoa Province.

Binh Ba village is located at the foot of 3 mountains clustered together, namely Ma Du, Hon Co and Mui Nam. The legend of the fishermen here tells that: Ma Du mountain got its name because in the past there was a wine maker here and he was afraid of thieves coming to steal wine, so he named the mountain "Ma Du". to scare off thieves from coming and going; Hon Co mountain is because storks often come here, so people call it Hon Co; Mui Nam mountain is located to the south of the village. As for the word Binh Ba, according to the people, the word "Binh" can mean "peaceful" or Binh Dinh because they think that their ancestors migrated from Binh Dinh land to live and settle down here. from about the end of the 17th century to the beginning of the 18th century. After settling down and establishing a village, the population became more and more crowded, living by sea fishing. Around the beginning of the 18th century, the villagers built Nam Hai's mausoleum with bamboo paintings and earthen walls to worship "Mr. Nam Hai", over time the mausoleum was gradually restored, and in 1992, it was greatly repaired and built the mausoleum on the same scale as today. now.

Currently, the mausoleum still preserves 04 ordinations bestowed by the Nguyen kings:
- Ordaining the 33rd year Tu Duc (1980) on Mr. Nam Hai
- Ordaining Dong Khanh in the 2nd year (1887) on Mr. Nam Hai
- Ordained Duy Tan in the 3rd year (1909) conferred on Mr. Nam Hai
- Ordaining Khai Dinh in the 9th year (1924) conferred on Mr. Nam Hai

Nam Hai Binh Ba Mausoleum is located near the southern sea edge of the village, the mausoleum is built massively, with a scale of coral stone, lime brick and mortar. The mausoleum has a structure with the typeface "Nhi" (=), in front is Tien Sa, inside is the main hall (temple). The mausoleum is facing north, leaning against the mountain, surrounded by residential areas on three sides.

Overall from the outside, Nam Hai Binh Ba mausoleum has the following work items: Nghi mon, feng shui, martial ca, money, main hall and east house.

 

Nghi Mon (gate): large construction with 3 doors, in the middle is a large door, on both sides is a smaller door, above is a roof system in the style of the ancient floor stacked with matches, the roof is covered with fake tiles of the type; On the roof bank is attached a picture of two dragons, the gable of the roof is covered with the shape of a tiger's head, from the outer column of the Nghi Mon, a square wall is built around the mausoleum. Inside the door is a large stylized room, in the middle is a court, two sides are arched doors going in, on the top of the pillar is a picture of 4 lotus buds, the front is painted with a dragon, the inside is painted. the shape of the word "Phuc".

Vo Ca only built a high foundation, almost the entire yard of the mausoleum, neither built a wall nor a roof system.

The mausoleum consists of two parts: the sacrifice and the main hall are built adjacent to each other, the house is built in the style of a walled house. The front of the sacrifice has 3 large doors, these doors do not make doors, but use wooden boards when they need to be closed. On the top of the middle door is a large letter book, on the top is a picture of "Two dragons and pearls", on the front side is a picture of "peach garden twinning" between Luu Be, Quan Cong and Truong Phi, scenes of Bat Tien, Quan Cong Cao, and Quan Cong. Pho Nhi Tuu…

The main hall is built adjacent to the money, the front is open to not building walls. Inside is a large altar, on top of a wooden throne, below are boxes (sarcophagus) containing whale bones, in the middle is a large wooden box 2.60m long, 1.36m wide, 0 0 m high. ,90m inside contains whale head bones, next to 16 smaller crates containing whale bones that have drifted here over many generations.

Worshiping ceremonies during the year take place at Nam Hai Binh Ba mausoleum many times such as: worshiping the opening of the mausoleum, worshiping Ong Nho, worshiping Co entering the mausoleum… Especially, on the 10th day of the 7th lunar month, a great ceremony is held every year and every 2 years. organize boi singing (there are five singing days and four nights).

The unique belief of whale worship (Mr. Nam Hai) of fishermen living by fishing on the central strip of land contains the cultural and spiritual values of coastal residents.

In 2006, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee ranked Nam Hai Binh Ba Mausoleum as a provincial historical and cultural relic.
