Description
Lac Loi communal house is located in Lac Loi village, Dien Hoa commune, Dien Khanh district, Khanh Hoa province.
Around 1818, under King Gia Long, the population gathered in Lac Loi to reclaim land and establish a village with only about 16 households, with no more than 30 people. Villagers established Lac Loi communal house with bamboo and leaf paintings, located about 400m south of the village's current location of the communal house.
In 1881, in the center of Lac Loi village, there was a shrine of Ba Thanh Mau, surrounded by sparse population, luxuriant trees and a halo strip, so the villagers believed that she descended to visit this place. The elders in the village believe that the center of the village is the place of the local spirit, so they discussed and decided to move the communal house next to the Ba Thanh Mau temple area and the village communal house next to the Ba shrine to this day.
