Dong Ha communal house is located in Dong Ha residential group, Ninh Hai ward, Ninh Hoa town, Khanh Hoa province.

However, because the establishment process of Dong Ha village (1852) was later than that of Dong Hai village (1831), so now the above ordinations are being kept in Dong Hai communal house. Based on the earliest ordination contents currently kept in Dong Hai communal house, which was bestowed by King Tu Duc in the 5th year (1852) to Dong village, the relative age of the relic can be guessed at the end of the 18th century.

At the time of its establishment, Dong Ha communal house was made of thatch of bamboo and thatched roof and named Xom Ro communal house[1] (Dong Hai village). From 1946-1949, the French colonialists occupied the communal house as a post. In 1952, the French army withdrew from Dong Ha village, the people rebuilt the communal house on the old ground (the present Dong Ha communal house). A unified architectural unit commonly found in the communal houses of the sea village is Lang Ong Nam Hai. The people of the sea respect whales very much, so the whole important influence of the religious life facing the sea is reflected in the worship of Ong fish, a special and quite common sea belief throughout the sea. central region.

Dong Ha Communal House is located on a campus with a total area of 989m2, the front facing southwest. From the outside to the inside, the communal house has a layout that includes the following architectural elements: Nghi Mon, Phong Nha, martial arts, great communal house, western house, sage house, Lang Ong - Ba, Am Soul Temple, and kitchen. Every year, on the 10th of March (lunar calendar), the people of Dong Ha village organize the Dong Ha communal house festival. The festival is held for 3 days and 3 nights, starting from the morning of March 9 (lunar calendar) to the night of March 11 (lunar calendar).

On September 18, 2015, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 2595/QD-CT.UBND ranking Dong Ha communal house as a provincial historical - cultural relic.
