Co Chi Temple is located in residential group No. 12, Phu Loc Tay clump, Dien Khanh town, Dien Khanh district, Khanh Hoa province. The temple was built to worship Thien Y An Na Thanh Mau, Ngu Hanh, Ban Canh Thanh Hoang, Tien Hien and Senior. In 1958, two Mr. Tran Gia and Tran Chieu (Nguyen Dong) donated an acre of 5 sao to the temple.

Description

Co Chi Temple is located in residential group No. 12, Phu Loc Tay clump, Dien Khanh town, Dien Khanh district, Khanh Hoa province.

Initially, the temple was made of bamboo and leaf paintings, damaged over time, so it was embellished and has the current structure, but the whole temple still retains the original construction structure.

The temple was built to worship Thien Y An Na Thanh Mau, Ngu Hanh, Ban Canh Thanh Hoang, Tien Hien and Senior. In 1958, two Mr. Tran Gia and Tran Chieu (Nguyen Dong) donated an acre of 5 sao to the temple.

Under the Nguyen Dynasty, the temple was bestowed with 02 titles by King Khai Dinh:
- The first color: Khai Dinh 9 (1924) conferred the title of Thanh Hoang Ban Canh;
- The second color: Khai Dinh 9 (1924) Phong for Thien Y A Na and Ngu Hanh Tien Nuong.

Co Chi temple relic consists of 4 main works. Ritual sect, feng shui, temple and the predecessor - junior house.

Nghi Mon and feng shui are built in the traditional architectural form of the Vietnamese people, including a pair of couplets in Han Nom with the first two words assembled from the name of the temple:

The majestic ancient tree, the indomitable heavenly relic

Chi Phong flourishes, the grace of ten thousand great reigns prevails

The temple has 3 wooden doors, designed in the style of Upper Song Ha Ban. Inside the temple there is a wooden altar, meticulously decorated with four spirits; On both sides of the gable wall, there are two doors that open to either side, called Dong Mon and Ximen.

Main Palace: Designed in the style of four ancient pillars. In the middle is the altar of the Council, the two sides are the altar of Dong Hien and Tay Hien. The main interior of the main hall hangs 03 mother-of-pearl mosaics; The bottom of the 3 diaphragms are hung with 3 panels of embroidered fabric. Behind the main column is the set of holes; in the innermost is the altar of God, placing 01 wooden altar, meticulously carved with motifs and traditional mascots; Inside is a wooden tablet and a statue of Lady Thien Y A Na. On the hitch bar hang 03 panels.

On the right side is the altar to worship Ngu Hanh, on the left side is the altar to worship the Gods of Earth and Ban Canh Chi; the two altars are of the same size and decoration.

The edge of the strip is decorated with the pattern of clouds turning into dragons, the middle part of the roof is decorated with the image of "Carp crossing the dance", the two sides are stylized dragon-shaped clouds.

Every year, the relic organizes Spring worship on the 9th and 10th day of the 3rd lunar month. Every 3 years, a great ceremony is performed once due to the unanimous response of the people, which can last from 2 to 4 days.

With typical historical - cultural values, in 2008 Phu An communal house was ranked as a provincial relic by Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee.
