Description
The relic is located in village 4, Dien Phu commune, Dien Khanh district, Khanh Hoa province.
When Phu An was first established, there were 4 hamlets: Bach Qua, Mien Hoa, Thanh Tu, and Phat Tinh. In May 1946, the government in Dien Khanh divided Thanh Tu and Phat Tinh hamlets in the south of Cai river into Phu An Nam village, Dien An commune, Bach Qua and Mien Hoa hamlets on the north bank of Cai river into Phu An village. North, in Dien Phu commune, Dien Khanh district.
The main temple of Ap Bach Qua
Thien Y A Na Temple (Ap Bach Qua Temple) was built by local people in the 19th century to worship Thien Y Thanh Mau; According to legend, she was the one who taught the people to grow crops, raise livestock, and weave cloth. She was the one who protected the people from natural disasters and epidemics. At present, the temple still preserves 03 titles bestowed by the Nguyen kings, including: :
- Ordained Duy Tan in the 5th year (1911) to Thien Y A Na.
- Ordained Duy Tan in the 5th year (1911) for Ngu Hanh.
- Ordaining Khai Dinh in the 9th year (1924) to Thien Y A.
The temple turns to the northeast, the total area of the land area is 2,950m2.
The relic has the following work items: Nghi Mon, courtyard, flagpole, feng shui plan, Thien Y Temple (including the sacrifice and main hall), the Temple of the Forebears - Am Co, the western house.
The temple has a structure imbued with traditional Vietnamese architecture, with traditional patterns, carvings and embossments, such as the figures of the Four Spirits (Long, Lan, Quy, Phung), The Four Quarters (Tung, Truc, Cuc, Mai), mascots such as Dragon, Lan, Phung ... are emblazoned with statues attached to the roof and strip banks. The festival is annually held on the 3rd day of the 3rd lunar month.
With historical and cultural values, in 2014 Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 2987/QD-CT.UBND ranking Bach Qua Hamlet Temple as a provincial relic.
