An Ninh communal house is located in An Ninh village, Dien An commune, Dien Khanh district, Khanh Hoa province.

According to the land registry of the village established in the 10th year of Gia Long (1802): An Ninh village was formerly called Phu An village. At first, the communal house was built in the west of the village, then this area was low near the Hoang Nguu mountain range, in the rainy season or flooded, the people in the village decided to move the communal house to its present location. When moving to a new location, the communal house turned to the northwest. After a long time of continuous war, the communal house was severely damaged. In 1971, when rebuilding the communal house, it turned to the northeast.

In the year Minh Mang was born (1820), the village was renamed Tay An, after a while it was renamed Thanh Ninh, in the reign of Father Ton That Lam, the village name was changed to An Ninh and the communal house name was also called after the village's name. nowadays.

According to oral tradition, An Ninh communal house was built around the end of the 18th century to worship Ban Canh Thanh Hoang, Cao Cac, Ngu Hanh, Tien Hien, and Hau Hien. The old sage of the village is Mr. Vo Van Dien.

Currently, the communal house still preserves 7 ordinations of the Nguyen kings bestowed to the gods: Ban Canh Thanh Hoang, Cao Cac, and Ngu Hanh.

The communal house has been restored and repaired many times, but it was restored in the years 1924 and 1971.

An Ninh communal house is located on a relatively flat campus, with the façade facing the northeast, there are 3 main works: Dai Dinh, Tien Hien Temple and East house.

This is an architectural work that still preserves the wooden architectural structure in the overall relic of An Ninh communal house. The communal house is open for 2 days, the festival is held on a beautiful day in the 2nd lunar month every year; The date and time of the organization is selected according to each year, not the rule. In addition, the family also organizes worshiping Tien Hien in the 8th lunar month.

During the resistance war against the French, on August 19, 1945, An Ninh communal house was the place where the masses gathered to the district to rob the government. Right after the day of taking power, the communal house was the place to organize political learning, organize popular classes to eliminate illiteracy.

In the atmosphere the whole country held the election of the first National Assembly of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, on January 6, 1946, An Ninh communal house was the place to place the ballot box for local people to gather to vote. promissory note.

With typical historical - cultural values, in 2008 An Ninh communal house was issued by Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Decision No. 707QD/ People's Committee ranked as a provincial relic.
