In 1922, the French - Vietnamese Primary School was built in Dien Khanh and was also known as Phu Dien Khanh School. From 1935-1936, it was changed to Dien Khanh Primary School (École primaire Dien Khanh). In 1989, it changed its name to Dien An I Primary School until now.

Truong Phu is the educational institution of Dien Khanh government, which has experienced many generations of teachers and students. At that time, there was teacher Hoang Van Hai who was a party member who propagated and mobilized some teaching assistants to join the Viet Minh Front.

On August 19, 1945, Master Hai gathered teachers, students and the masses at Truong Phu, then brought the protest group to coordinate with the people of Tu Dai Dien and Truong Lac communes to pull up Dien Khanh citadel, along with the people. People in the Phu (now the district) occupied Tuan Vu palace, broke down the gate of Thanh prison, liberated prisoners, and took power back to the people.

On August 20, 1945, after the establishment of the revolutionary government in the communes, Principal Hoang Le Thuong was appointed as the head of the Viet Minh commune. The school opened popular academic classes to teach the national language to the people and was a meeting place for national salvation organizations.

After Master Hoang Le Thuong joined the Viet Minh and escaped to the war zone to participate in the resistance war, generations of students of Dien Khanh Phu School were enlightened by their teachers' revolutionary ideals and continued to break away from participating in the war. armed forces, local guerrillas…

During the days of the Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Front 101 days and nights of resistance (October 23, 1945 - February 2, 1946), Truong Phu Dien Khanh was the resting place of the troops of Nam Long Branch, Thu Son to support the South. Vo Phu commune (now Dien An) was the direct rear of the Nha Trang Front, so Dien Khanh Truong Phu was arranged as a food warehouse to supply the Cay Da - Quan Gieng line. The school is the place to gather goods, food, food, medicine, equipment, etc. to move to the Front.
