Phap Hai Pagoda is located in Lac Binh village, Ninh Tho commune, Ninh Hoa town, Khanh Hoa province.  Phap Hai Pagoda was founded by Thich Quang Duc in 1940, originally located in Ngoc Son village (Ninh An commune).  In 1946, the pagoda was burned down by the French colonialists.  Also in 1946, the pagoda had to be moved to Lac Binh village (Ninh Tho commune) and rebuilt in the grounds of a Buddhist, Mr. Nguyen Van Chat - dharma name Dong Truc - made a dedication.

Phap Hai Pagoda is located in Lac Binh village, Ninh Tho commune, Ninh Hoa town, Khanh Hoa province.

Phap Hai Pagoda was founded by Thich Quang Duc in 1940, originally located in Ngoc Son village (Ninh An commune). In 1946, the pagoda was burned down by the French colonialists. Also in 1946, the pagoda had to be moved to Lac Binh village (Ninh Tho commune) and rebuilt in the grounds of a Buddhist, Mr. Nguyen Van Chat - dharma name Dong Truc - made a dedication.

According to the oral tradition of the old men: In 1947, the French colonialists suspected that Thich Quang Duc was active in the revolution, so he sent planes to drop bombs to destroy the temple. On two occasions, it was burned by the French invaders. also burned clean. But there is a very strange thing that makes everyone surprised that the portrait of Avalokitesvara, which is worshiped in the temple, was not burned. In 1957, when Thich Quang Duc came out from the South, he saw that the picture pagoda was too sketchy, so he mobilized Buddhists to rebuild Phap Hai Pagoda. This time the pagoda was moved to the other side of the road, also located in the grounds of the land donated by Buddhist Dong Truc. After completing the construction of Phap Hai Pagoda, Bodhisattva Thich Quang Duc assigned his eldest brother, Zen Master Thi Canh, to be the Abbot.

In 1963, after the body of Bodhisattva Thich Quang Duc was cremated, some of his remains were brought to worship at Sac Tu Thien Tu Patriarchate and Phap Hai Pagoda - Ninh Hoa.

Phap Hai Pagoda worships Shakyamuni, Amitabha, Quan Am, Dia Tang, Dharma Protector, Tieu Dien, Bodhisattva Thich Quang Duc...

Phap Hai Pagoda still preserves a number of relics and antiquities: Dai Hong Chung, Bao Chong, and a picture of a Bodhisattva.

Years of construction, restoration and embellishment of the pagoda:
- In 1940, the pagoda was built in Ngoc Son village.
- In 1947, the pagoda was moved to Lac Binh village.
- In 1957, the pagoda was moved to its present location.
- In 1996 - present, construction of new Tam Quan and Main Palace started.

From the outside to the inside, Phap Hai Pagoda has the following overall layout: Tam Quan, Quan Am station, main hall, ancestral house, monk house, guest house

Phap Hai Pagoda faces the South, the temple is built in a large land area with an area of 6,092.0m2, roofed with western tiles, on the roof bank decorated with the pattern "Two dragons adoring the wheel of reincarnation". The main hall has a wooden door system, the two sides write a pair of couplets in Chinese characters with the first letter of the pagoda's name:

Every year, Phap Hai Pagoda celebrates Buddha's Birthday and Vu Lan Festival on the full moon day of the first lunar month and the seventh lunar month. In addition, Phap Hai Pagoda also worships the days of Guanyin (February 19 and June 19 of the lunar calendar), the cavalry of Khai Son (December 17 of the lunar calendar), the days of Buddha's enlightenment (December 8 of the lunar calendar), The anniversary of the death of Bodhisattva Thich Quang Duc, the Dharma cremator (April 19 of the lunar calendar).

Phap Hai Pagoda is the place to worship the remains of Thich Quang Duc. The noble sacrifice of Bodhisattva Thich Quang Duc had a strong impact on all classes of people, Buddhists, monks and nuns, etc., greatly influenced and contributed to bringing Vietnamese Buddhism to victory in the struggle against the herd. pressure of the Ngo Dinh Diem regime.

With all the above meanings, in 2009, Phap Hai Pagoda was ranked by Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee as a provincial historical - cultural relic.
