Cay Gao Temple is located in the south of Cai River in Phu An Nam 1 village, Dien An commune, Dien Khanh district, Khanh Hoa province.

Cay Rice Temple's Pre-Sacrificial Pavilion

Cay Gao Temple dates to the end of the 19th century, when it was first established it was in the form of a flag to worship Ba Ngu Hanh. The worship of Mrs. Kim, Moc Thuy, Hoa and Tho originates from the story of Mrs. Nguyen Thi Xuyen dreaming that 05 fairies appeared on her land to save the less fortunate in life, so she decided to establish a a small temple in the form of a flag to worship. In 1917, the temple was renovated and more spacious. According to legend, after the ceremony of worshiping to inaugurate and repair the temple, at midnight suddenly there were 3 loud bangs accompanied by a five-color halo from Dai An mountain (Am Chua) flying on the roof of the temple, then glowing in harmony. along with the sound of the wind blowing like the sound of a lute flying towards Suoi Do. Due to the light trail from Am Chua flying to the temple, the villagers invited Thien Y A Na Thanh Mau to worship in the temple.

Over time, the temple was bestowed by King Khai Dinh with three ordinations, including:
+ On March 18, the 2nd year of Khai Dinh (1917) ordained Ms. Thien Y A Na.
+ On March 18, the 2nd year of Khai Dinh (1917) ordained Mrs. Ngu Hanh.
+ On July 25, the 9th year of Khai Dinh (1924) conferred the title on Thien Y A Na and Ngu Hanh.

Cay Gao Temple was built to worship Ngu Hanh, Thien Y A Na, Uncle Tri and Miss Quy, Senior - Junior; ghosts, ghosts, dead soldiers.

Cay Gao Temple is located on a campus with a total area of 744m2. Over a long period of existence, Cay Gao Temple has undergone many renovations in the years: 1983, 1997, 2000, 2008, 2010. The characteristic feature in the architecture of the relic is a mixture of Eastern and Western styles. Western: The relic has a structure of 3 compartments and 2 wings, a Vauban-style arched door system in the front hall, two sides of the back wall, the Tien Hien space and the yin co room; Wood-roofed ceiling, yin-yang tile roof, embossed roof bank "Two dragons adoring moon", "four spirits", "four quarters"...From the outside to the inside, Cay Gao Temple has an overall layout including: Gate , flagpole, ritual, feng shui, yard, money - main hall.

Ceremonies of Cay Rice Temple

Every year, Cay Gao Temple holds a festival on the 11th and 12th of the third lunar month; Every 3 years, the great ceremony is held once every 2-3 days.

Recognizing the values of the relic, on February 21, 2014, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee ranked Cay Gao Temple as a provincial historical-cultural relic in Decision No. 403/QD-CT.UBND.
