Description

Previously, the communal house was named Xuan Phu, named after the village, later the village was split into two villages, Xuan Phu 1 and Xuan Phu 2, so the name of the communal house was associated with the current village name. The communal house was built in Cay Gao field, northeast of Xuan Phu 2 village, Suoi Tien commune, Dien Khanh district, Khanh Hoa province.

Dinh Xuan Phu 2 was built around the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. According to the ordination kept at the communal house, during the reign of King Khai Dinh 9 (1924) Xuan Phu communal house belonged to Xuan Phu commune, Vinh Xuong district, Khanh Hoa province. Initially, the communal house was built in Cam field, to the southeast of the present communal house. In 1941, the communal house was moved to its present location.

From the outside, looking at the relic, there are the following work items: Courthouse, Courtyard, Great Communal House, Tien Hien Temple and Ba Temple, East House, Ong Ho Temple, Well.

Dinh Xuan Phu 2 worships Thanh Hoang, Tien Hien, Hau Hien, Thien Y A Na Thanh Mau, Mr. Ho. Every year, the Management Board takes the yield from eight acres of field land next to the communal house to use for worshiping and incense. This is the field provided for the family and for the people in the village to cultivate until the harvest season to produce crops for the family.

Today, Xuan Phu 2 communal house is still preserved, preserving the traditional architecture with decorative patterns and motifs on the top of the head, the roof system, the ancient floor and the couplets, the incense burner, the lampstand, the muzzle, gongs, drums, wooden boxes containing the ordination, and 02 ordinations conferred by King Khai Dinh for Ban Canh Thanh Hoang and Thien Y A Na Dien Ngoc Phi in 1924.

According to the annual tradition, the Xuan Phu 2 communal house festival takes place in two days from February 18 to February 19 of the lunar calendar. This is the Spring Festival to pray for peace.

Recognizing the historical - cultural values of Xuan Phu 2 communal house, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 2644/QD-UBND dated October 14, 2010 ranking provincial relic.
