Xuan Lac communal house is located in Xuan Lac village, Vinh Ngoc commune, Nha Trang city, Khanh Hoa province. In the past, this was a part of the land of Xuan Son Thuong commune, Ha Bac, Vinh Xuong district, Dien Khanh district.

Xuan Lac communal house was formerly known as Linh Son communal house. After that, the communal house was damaged by fire in 1788. In the 20th year of Tu Duc (1866), the communal house was restored by the work of the former sage Vo Trieu Phu and the people of Xuan Lac village. Currently, the graves of Mr. Vo Trieu Phu and his wife, Ms. Le Thi Dien, are still present, located in the grounds of the Vo family.

Since its construction until now, the relic has undergone renovations: In 1961, the communal house was overhauled; in 1994, building new door frame, painting main hall and roof; 1997, East house remodeling; in 2003, renovating martial arts; in 2006, renovating the entrance hall, fence wall, painting the main hall, repairing the roof of the communal house and the old floor, paving the floor tiles; In 2007, the east and west houses were restored.

Xuan Lac communal house is located in the middle of the village, in a campus of 3,250m2. The relic faces to the West, has an overall layout including: Nghi Mon, Phong Nha, martial arts, money, main hall, east house, west house. In which, the ceremony, the project, the sacrifice and the main hall are the four typical items and works of the relic.

At present, Xuan Lac communal house still preserves many valuable artifacts containing great historical and cultural content through the periods: god worshiping examination, pair of parasols, set of holes, gongs, drums, and Thanh la. , costumes, vestments, especially 05 ordinations bestowed by the Nguyen Dynasty Kings, including:

Every year, on the occasion of spring, the people of Xuan Lac village hold a festival to worship the spring (the date of the festival is chosen by the villagers on the auspicious date of the Qingming festival).

During the two resistance wars against the French colonialists and the American imperialists, Xuan Lac communal house was the site of many events related to the local revolutionary history. Xuan Lac communal house was the place where the Viet Minh secretly disseminated the Viet Minh program, held meetings to discuss the plan to take power back to the people, and conducted the election of the Provisional Revolutionary People's Committee.

On October 23, 1945, when the Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Front took place, at Xuan Lac communal house, 01 Xuan Lac militia platoon and 01 Vinh Phuong militia platoon went to fight in Ma Vong - Cho New. When the line was broken, the People's Committee of Vinh Xuong district withdrew to stay at Xuan Lac pagoda. Dinh Xuan Lac became the headquarters to supply food and medicine for the front.

During the resistance war against the Americans to save the country, Xuan Lac communal house was still the contact point of the revolution.

Xuan Lac communal house is an ancient communal house of Khanh Hoa land, a relic containing many values of culture, beliefs, architecture and art. Especially the historical value, which has marked many important events of our army and people in the two long resistance wars of the nation. Because of the above typical values, Xuan Lac communal house was classified as a provincial relic by the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 1518/QD-UBND, dated 22/28/2007.
