Description

According to oral tradition: Formerly, Ba Temple was built on a small scale, in 1846 (Binh Ngo) Grandfather Ngo Dac Trinh donated land and some village elders campaigned to build the temple in the locality. current point; At the same time, Mr. Nguyen Thap prayed to worship the black stone Lady statue in the old temple.

Based on the ordination granted to Ba Temple by King Tu Duc in 1852, we can guess that the temple was built around the beginning of the 19th century. Since the construction of the Temple, it has undergone many renovations in the years: 1884, 1906, 1922 and the following years to restore the following items:
- In 1961, replacing yin and yang tiles with hook tiles;
- In 1970, the Ngu Hanh Temple and the Son Lam Temple were established;
- In 1990, the temple was greatly restored;
- In 1996, built the subject.

Temple of Ba Thien Y A Na worships Thien Y A Na, Ngu Hanh, Son Lam... Currently, Ba Temple still preserves 02 ordinations given by the Nguyen kings:
- Sac Tu Duc year 5 (1852) given to Thien Y A Na;
- Sac Khai Dinh 9th year (1924) given to Thien Y An Na

Temple of Ba Thien Y A Na rotates in the southwest direction. From the outside to the inside, the temple includes the following architectural works: Nghi Mon, flag pole, Phong Nha Temple, Thien Y A Na Temple, Ngu Hanh Temple, Son Lam Temple, and Tru house.

The temple has an architectural structure in the style of the word "Nhat", including two western-tiled roofs, on the roof bank decorated with "Two dragons adoring the moon", the roof strip is decorated with stylized rattan patterns. Above the lid of the main entrance door, the two sides are decorated with natural scenery, in the middle, the letter is decorated, and the two sides write a couplet in Han Nom:

God of the Universe, People's Communion,
The superior position of spring and autumn becomes the same light.

God sent the spirit of the universe to the people and the team of helpers,
Life is superior, spring and autumn sacrifices will always show glory.

The main hall has an ancient floor, consisting of two roofs, each floor has four roofs with western tiles, on the roof is decorated with the image of "Two dragons adoring the moon", the strip is decorated with clouds, waves stylized with dragon patterns, The two gables of the ancient floor are decorated with embossed images of bats.

Every year, this place holds a festival on the 14th and 15th of the third lunar month and on the full moon days, the first day of every month, the people here offer incense and flowers to Grandma to pay their respects and pray for a peaceful life. , happy.

During the two periods of resistance against the French colonialists and the American imperialists, Ba Temple was the place of secret activities of the local revolutionary movement. enemy heart.
