Minh Huong pagoga is both the headquarters and the place to worship the Chinese-born god that the people call "the middle can and the righteous spirit", which is Quan Thanh De Quan.  Through the preservation and worship of the overseas Chinese community at Tu Pho Minh Huong, it shows the people's admiration for the talented generals who have supported them in reclaiming wasteland, converting people, establishing hamlets  building villages and creating solidarity of the Chinese community;  with the principle "Drink water, remember the source" expressed through praying and repairing activities at Tu Pho Minh Huong.

Tu Pho Minh Huong is located in residential group 7, Ninh Hiep ward, Ninh Hoa town, Khanh Hoa province.

According to the recollections of overseas Chinese seniors, Tu Pho Minh Huong was built in the year of Nham Tuat (1862), by the Chinese from Guangdong who came to Vietnam to do business and live in Ninh Hoa. However, based on the two ordinations bestowed on Quan Thanh De Quan in 1911 and 1924, we can guess that the relic dates back to the late 19th century.

Currently, Tu Pho Minh Huong still preserves the horizontal concubines, couplets, incense burners and especially 02 ordinations under the reign of King Duy Tan in the 5th year (1911) and Khai Dinh in the 9th year (1924). for Quan Thanh De Quan.

Since its inception, Tu Pho Minh Huong has undergone many renovations: 1892, 1904, 1928, 1952, 1964, 1988, 2004 were the years of the main hall, west and east houses; in 2012, overhauled the main hall and western house.

Tu Pho Minh Huong is located in an area of 6,451 m2, with the front facing Southeast. From the outside in, Tu Pho Minh Huong is arranged the following work items: Gate, room, courtyard, aquarium, east house, west house, main hall, kitchen and guest house. The distinctive highlight in the relic is the plan and the wooden frame structure in the front hall - the main hall.

The large sized room [8.15m x 3.10m] built the entire width of the entrance from Nghi Mon, opened two doors [2.60m x 1.30m] on both sides as a passageway; The top of the altar is embossed with a celadon ceramic plate representing the moon and two dragons flanking the sides. The money structure has a structure because the roof is "stacked" with three rows of columns hiding in a circular shape, because the "stack" is created by wooden beams with reduced lengths that overlap to form a triangle, the beams are placed directly. on top of each other or have cushions. The main hall has a wooden frame with 04 rows of columns and 12 wooden columns. Because the roof has a "rafter" structure with four hidden columns (loose pillars) round top and bottom to create accents in the compact worship space. The main columns inside the main hall are painted with dragons and gilded with vermilion; the residual heads are skillfully and meticulously carved by skillful craftsmen and carved with dragon head patterns; especially wooden architecture in the style of "medicine"; The two sides are the worshiping time of the left and the right. The carvings and architecture showed the talent of the craftsman and the prosperous business of the overseas Chinese at that time.

 

The main hall of Tu Pho Minh Huong

Every year, on January 13 (lunar calendar) and June 24 (lunar calendar), the management board and relatives in residential group 7 hold a festival at Tu Pho Minh Huong. In addition, in the Qingming period, the Monument Management Board chooses a good day to hold the festival. In the years 1958, 1962, 1963, the villagers held a boi singing festival (which took place in 3 days) on the occasion of the festival, the tuong was chosen to sing as the Chinese ancient "Three Kingdoms" performing business in the following years. On the occasion of the festival, people organize Boi singing.

On October 10, 2008, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 2503/QD-UBND ranking Tu Pho Minh Huong relic as a provincial historical and cultural relic.
